Visit to Stevenage Borough Council
written by pupils' Arad, Emilia, Patrick, Emilia and Suki
Today, we went to Stevenage Borough Council with 15 other schools. We sat in a meeting room and talked about stuff to improve our schools. We also met the mayor, his name was Jim Brown, and the head of Leys who was also chairing the meeting. We discussed about mental health and how to better the environment. In the Spring, there will be a Mental and Physical Health workshop for Year 4. We voted for a theme for the summer term, and it was decided to be about mental health, so we need to go to the next meeting with some ideas. We also talked about how we could link secondary and primary schools together.
