This year Anti-Bullying’ week will take place across the country and is being held between the 14 and 18 November with the theme 'power for good' and is organised by Anti-Bullying Alliance.
Anti-bullying week is a great way for schools to get involved, take a stand against bullying and raise awareness for everyone. As a school we take bullying very seriously and are constantly monitoring, updating and improving our practices.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite any parents or adults interested in finding out more about our current practises and strategies in school to a meeting taking place on Tuesday 15 November 2016 from 2.45pm – 3.30pm.
During the meeting, there will also be opportunities to discuss matters regarding:
- Policy (Anti-Bullying/behaviour policy)
- Activities arranged for Anti-bullying week and
- Feedback from Parental questionnaires.
- Anti-Bullying accreditation.
Parental feedback and comments are always welcome and valued and it is vital that pupils, staff and parents are involved in the whole school approach to help stop any form of bullying in school.
I hope that you will be able to attend and I look forward to sharing new information and listening to parental feedback and comments.
