Thursday 6th October Gourmet Burger Day Important information regarding year Reception 1 & 2.

Universal Infant Free School Meals – New Information

As you should be aware all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal.

For every child that takes a Universal Infant free school meal the school receives funding. This funding is calculated on how many children take a school meal on

Thursday 6th October our census day.

Due to this funding we would like every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to have a school meal or at least to try the school meal on Thursday 6th October so that our funding can be calculated to its fullest capacity. (If your child does not like the meal then we are happy for them also to have a home packed lunch brought in for them to have after they have tried the school meal.)

Any queries regarding the ordering of this meal please speak to Mrs. Higham.

If you think you maybe entitled to benefit related Free School Meals then Mrs Higham in the office is available to help you register or offer information and advice regarding Free School Meals and any questions you may have.
