In Yellow class, we have been looking at 'Jess and the bean root' in English. 

These are the  characters in the story. 

Here is what some of the children said about the story:

Ryan - Hugo is one of the main characters in the story and he is a giant. 

Riley - Jess plants the bean root in the story, 

Anna - Jess's Mum told her off for planting the golden bean. 

We read the story and then had to sequence it to help us remember what happened in the story and then we wrote key words linked to the pictures.
