Primary school

We’ve had an exciting day today dressed as people relating to World War One.

This morning we looked at photographs from WWI showing soldiers waving their families goodbye and soldiers in the trenches. We created freeze frames to depict these scenes.

Then after break we learnt about the three key figures in WWI, King Charles V, Tsar Nicholas II and Kaiser Wilhelm II. We researched information about them and then made a poster.

This afternoon Mrs Bonfield brought in some medals from the World Wars for us to look at too. They were very shiny and very special.

Finally we learnt about the different countries that were involved in WWI and painted flags.

What a fun day!
