Yellow class find more out about The Great Fire of London.

This week we have been learning about the Great Fire of London in English and topic.

We have been asking questions to help us find out more about the Great Fire of London.

Here are some of the questions we asked:

When did the Great Fire of London start?

How did it spread?

How did they stop the fire?

What happened after the Great Fire of London?

We used Non fiction books to help us find the answers out.

Here are some of the facts we learnt:

Lara - "I learnt that it started on the 2nd September 1666."

Casey - "It started when a baker forgot to sweep out his oven. It spread quickly because the houses were close together and made out of wood."

Indi-Rose - "The fire started because Thomas the baker didn't sweep out the oven and started a massive fire."

We look forward to finding out more about The Great Fire of London.
