Y3 Sapphire: Mental Health Awareness Day!
We wore yellow to spread awareness of Mental Health.
This week, we have been talking about our mental health. We have discussed that we have to look after our minds as well as our bodies.
The children shared some strategies they use when they are frustrated or upset and we have also learnt some new breathing techniques.
We chose to write some positive messages to our peers that they can open when they are feeling upset, angry or worried. There were some lovely messages that were meant to make the person feel amazing or have a good laugh.
The children have done amazingly with this and have shown that they know how to look after their peers.
In the afternoon, we also took some lovely photos to remember that our friends are really good sources of happiness and laughter!
