Science investigations in Sapphire class.

On Monday, we got to investigate our shadows and how they change shape and direction.  Every hour we had to go outside and draw around our shadows.

To make it a fair test we had to draw around the same person every hour and then we measured it from the cross.

We found out that at 9:00 our shadows were really long and then after that, they started to get shorter every hour. Each time we went outside our shadows were in a different position.

At 1:00 we noticed that our shadows started to get longer again. We found that shadows changed length and direction as the sun was moving throughout the day.
