This week in English we have been writing poems about The Iron Man. When writing poems we could use rhyming words, similes, alliteration and noun phrases. We had to decide how many lines were going to be in each verse. 

An example of alliteration is:

Raynie: ruby red eyes

Laice: crystal clear ocean 

Amber The Iron Man saw seagulls sitting sadly on the blue ocean.  

We got to perform our poems by using clear voices, facial expressions and a range of tones. We then got to explain what we liked about each other poems.
