This week in Year 3 we have been making Stone Age necklaces.
We found out that Stone Age people wore jewellery made out of teeth and animal bones of the animals that they hunted.
To make our own necklaces we got some clay and made them into different shapes for teeth and bones. The next day we painted them white so that they looked like animals' bones and teeth. Then we got some string and we threaded the teeth and bone onto it carefully. In Stone Age times they would have used animal skin to make necklaces from.
