Sapphire classes Volcanoes
We have been researching Volcanoes to find out more about them.
We have been looking at how Volcanoes have been formed over time and learning that there are different types of Volcanoes.
We found out that Volcanoes are formed when the magma erupts out of the volcano vent and then the lava goes down the surface to cool. Meaning that every time a Volcano erupts it gets bigger and bigger.
We have also found out that Volcanoes can be Active, Dormant, Extinct and Composite.
An Active volcano is where it can erupt.
A Dormant Volcano hasn't erupted for a long time but it might erupt in the future.
Look at our Pictures and see if you can guess what Volcanos we are?
