PSHE

We support our children to develop the necessary skills to live life fully as responsible citizens. We use the JIGSAW scheme of work to support and prepare our children for the challenges and decisions they will make.

JIGSAW PSHE (Personal, Social, Health Education) provides consistency and progression and enables teachers to deliver high-quality, age-appropriate PSHE lessons equipping children to be healthy, happy and learn well.

JIGSAW meets all statutory RSHE (Relationships, Sex and Health Education) requirements, and it builds the positive, inclusive and caring ethos of the school. It empowers children’s self-regulation, emotional literacy and self-belief.

JIGSAW PSHE makes a significant contribution to personal development, SMSC, British Values, equity, and safeguarding.

In the spring term 2025, all classes will be undertaking work relating to British values and racism awareness.
