We have had a super first week back at school and everyone has settled really well. We have spent the week exploring our classroom and the outside area finding lots of new things to learn and play with. We have been getting to know each other and have had lots of circle time discussions talking about our families, where we live, what we like to eat and what we like to play with. We have all completed our very first piece of writing and we all really impressed our teachers with our phonic knowledge and our ability to have a go even if we found things a little tricky. We have launched our new topic 'places to play' and have shared where we like to play. We love our new role play corner which is set up as a teddy bears picnic area and we can't wait is new in our classroom next week!
