A Wet Week in Blue Class

The rainy weather didn't stop us having an amazing time at Forest School!
This week we started Forest School! We talked about what we would need to wear and how we could stay safe crossing the car park to the Secret Garden. We walked in an amazing line and were independent in putting on our coats and wellies! When we got to Forest School, we explored the different animal posters, natural objects we found, and how to take big steps over the tree trunks and duck down under the branches.
We have also loved exploring the water beads in the sensory tray. Some of us have experimented with how to pop them! We developed our fine motor skills by using pipettes to make them move around the edge of the tray.
In small group time, we have been thinking about 'over' and 'under.' We learnt a rhyme to help us put a shark over and under our bubble wrap sea. We have also created some amazing sea creature paintings and thought very carefully about what colours we should use!
