This week in Sapphire class, we have been learning about adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. 

When you add or subtract fractions the numerator is the part of the fractions which changes and the denominator will stay the same.

An example, given by:

Amber   7/10 +2/10= 9/10 

Oliver 8/9 - 4/9= 4/9

We got to make a board game based on adding and subtracting which we got to play with other members of the class. Next time our parents are in we will hopefully play the games with them.
